Enter into the lives of Jacob & Anika, two young people from two completely different walks of life trying to stay together in a world that continues to separate them. She sees marriage, family, and spending the rest of her life with Jacob; and though he loves her, he’s very much plagued with a darkness he doesn't think Anika will ever understand. 

Will she embrace the darkness within him? Or learn how to live without him - or not at all? 


Jacob Christopher Ross - 24 year old college dropout

Misguided & with little direction in life, Jacob seems to always find a way to win. But, for the first time in his adult life, he feels like he's going to lose everything; and the double life he's living isn't helping him any! He's fighting hard to fit into the image of who Anika has fallen in love with, despite a dark past haunting him.  Jacob is determined to keep Anika, but every decision he makes seems to push her further away.


Anika Arrielle Jackson - 20 year old college student

She's independent,  head strong, multi-talented, and fierce.  But no matter what life has to offer her, no matter how many warnings and red flags she sees - she only wants Jacob, the man she fell in love with at the age of 17. How far will Anika go to keep him?
